Property Manager

EA Recruitment have been instructed by our client, a successful independent estate agency which covers East London to recruit an experienced Property Manager.

As a Property Manager, you will be expected to play a key role in supporting the lettings business and providing excellent service to landlords and tenants. You will be working within a team of five Property Managers dealing with the needs of a portfolio of 750 properties.

Offering up to £30k salary per annum. Interviews are taking place now!

Key Responsibilities:
* Property Management
* Dealing with property maintenance (both planned and reactive)
* Liaising with contractors to obtain quotations for works and agree with Landlords
* Ensuring that lettings compliance is adhered to
* Organising EPCs, Gas Safety Certs, EICRs
* Dealing with amendments to tenancies
* Renewals
* Organising end of tenancy cleaning
* Property Inspections
* Chasing rent arrears
* Serving section notices
* Working closely with the lettings team to minimise void periods
* Identifying opportunities to generate new business
* Dealing with general admin required

Skills and Knowledge:
* Circa 1 years Property management experience
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Attention to detail and task completion
* Ideally having or working towards ARLA qualifications.
* Strong multi-tasking skills
* Ability to take the initiative and trouble shoot where necessary
* Ideally a good knowledge of heating, hot water and electrical systems
* Strong IT skills
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively
* Ability to work well under pressure

Package/benefits and working hours:
* £30k salary pa.
* Working hours Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
