Lettings Negotiator

EA Recruitment have been instructed by our client, an East London based independent Estate Agency with a strong market share which has built on honesty, integrity and always putting their clients first. We are recruiting an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join the existing team due to an overwhelming demand in Lettings, they have a very large list of available properties to rent and cannot meet the demands with the current size of the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within Lettings, enjoy their role and be looking to take the next step in their career, in exchange you will have all the resources necessary to achieve at least a £55K OTE.

The role:
* Dealing with incoming lettings enquiries via internet marketing, telephone, emails.
* Registering new tenants, discussing their requirements and identifying suitable properties
* Arranging and accompanying property viewings
* Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies with landlord and tenant.
* Identifying opportunities to generate new business
* Keeping landlords up to date with the progress of the marketing of their property
* Working closely with the team to achieve office targets

The Requirements:
* Experience working within lettings would be beneficial but not essential as training can be given
* Lettings experience or working within a property related role would help
* Clean driving licence
* Must be driven and ambitious and have a professional approach
* Confident with good communication skills

The Package/Benefits:
* £22k - £26k basic salary plus commission
* 7% commission on lettings
* No need for use of a car
* £55k + on target earnings
