Service Charge Accountant (Part-Time) – Specialist Block Management Company | West London
Location: West London
Hours: 1 day per week - Friday (9:00am – 6:00pm)
Salary: £15,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time

EA Recruitment have been instructed by our client, a specialist block management company based in West London to recruit a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Service Charge Accountant to join the team on a part-time basis for one day per week.
Role Overview
As the Service Charge Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial management of the block management portfolio. You’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining service charge accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and supporting our property management team with financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare annual service charge budgets and year-end accounts
• Reconcile expenditure and income across multiple residential developments
• Liaise with external auditors and property managers
• Manage sinking fund and reserve fund accounts
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs and compliance with industry standards
• Respond to finance-related enquiries from clients, leaseholders, and suppliers
• Accounts payable

Experience/skills required:
• Experience in service charge accounting (essential)
• Strong understanding of property management financials and relevant legislation
• Proficient in accounting software (Qube, Propman, or similar a bonus)
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Organised, professional, and reliable
