Property Manager

EA Recruitment have been instructed by our client, a highly respected independent family run estate agency which has been operating for over 25 years in the North West London area.

We are recruiting an experienced Property Manager with excellent organisational skills, the ability to solve problems and work well within the tight knit team. As the Property Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of a portfolio of approx. 120, ensuring that the day to day enquiries, maintenance, compliance and issues are dealt with efficiently. You also have the support of the Lettings department to assist with various tasks including inspections and ad hoc PM tasks as this company really believes in working together as a team.

The responsibilities:
• Managing a portfolio of 120 properties (including HMO and single units)
• Dealing with day to day issues that arise
• Ensuring that compliance is met (instructing EPCs, Gas Safety Certs and EICRs)
• Dealing with planned and emergency repairs
• Instructing contractors for quotations and to commence works
• Keeping Landlords and Tenants updated at all times
• Conducting property inspections (also delegated to the team)
• Assisting with renewals
• Amendments to tenancies
• Chasing rent arrears
• Updated the system – Vebra Alto
• Working closely with the Lettings team to minimise void periods

Experience/skills required:
• HMO Management experience
• Must have experience in a Residential Property Manager role
• Experience using Vebra Alto would be beneficial
• Great communication skills, friendly and approachable
• Must be highly organised and prioritise workload
• Ability to deal with difficult clients

Package/ working hours:
• Up to £35k salary (depending on experience)
• Bonus
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
