Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Holiday: 22 days per annum

EA Recruitment have been instructed by our client, a Chartered Surveyors company to recruit a proactive and organised Property Manager to join their commercial property management department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with property experience who is keen to broaden their expertise into commercial and mixed-use management while working closely with experienced Directors (Chartered Surveyors).
You will play a key role in managing a varied and interesting portfolio on behalf of a diverse client base. The role offers genuine exposure to all aspects of commercial property management, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment.
The Opportunity
You will work alongside the Directors in managing a mixed portfolio of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use properties. Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the day-to-day management of a varied commercial property portfolio
• Coordinating reactive repairs, planned maintenance and statutory compliance
• Assisting with service charge budgets and year-end reconciliations
• Acting as a key point of contact for tenants on lease matters including consents, assignments, renewals, rent reviews and surrenders
• Managing vacant properties including inspections, marketing liaison, utilities, business rates and insurance matters
• Completing pre-contract enquiries (LPE/CPSE) for sales and lettings
• Undertaking property inspections
• Supporting insurance claims and annual policy renewals
• Maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent client service
This is a hands-on role where you will gain exposure to a wide range of asset classes and client scenarios.
About You
We are seeking someone who:
• Has experience in property management (block management or AST experience welcomed)
• Is eager to develop knowledge of Landlord and Tenant law within commercial property
• Is confident communicating with tenants, contractors, clients and agents
• Is highly organised, resourceful and able to manage competing priorities
• Is comfortable using property management systems (Re-Leased experience advantageous)
• Holds a full driving licence and is happy to travel to properties mainly across the South-East of England
